This website is about Gyrinus natator, the whirligig beetle that walks on the surface of the water, using his long beetle arms to wriggle and scribble, that is: to record on the shiny surface everything that happens in the murky water under, the high blue sky above and on the hazy shore – the far beyond where ear and eye fall short and he thus has to use his imagination to fill in the gaps.

I am much like him. I also write about everything that happens or could happen around me and I too do fill in the gaps in a way I think best.

My private waters are in the Netherlands, so I write in Dutch.
However, five of my short stories from the Story-Giftbooklet series have been translated by Tony Maertens (Ottawa, Canada).

You can order them here ; welcome to my pond.
